Please tell me what you believe is a safe overclocking speed, this card apparently has an amazing onboard heatsink and great overclocking capabilities...and ive heard of it being run up to as far as 520 by normal cooling- given my cooling system what do you believe is a safe, running speed for the card- only safe, certain answers that wont fry the card please! thanks in advance :D

what brand is it? a link would be lots of help, can't determine the overclocking potential without specs and brand. the 5900XT in GENERAL overclocks nicely, but some brands will be far less flexible than others. and you haev to find out what type of ram chips it uses...every brand is different with what type of RAM chips it uses.

Its made by XFX:

GPU/VPU
nVidia GeForce FX 5900 XT

RAMDAC
Dual 400 MHz

Vertices per Second
300 Million

Maximum Resolution
2048 x 1536 x 32 bpp at 85Hz

Memory

Video Memory
128MB

Memory Type
DDR SDRAM

Core Clock
400 MHz

Memory Clock
850 MHz

Connections

Interface Type
AGP

Interface Speed
8X

Connector(s)
DVI
TV/S-Video
VGA

Ive been told by several its easily overclockable to 5950 status, at a speed from 500-600 mhz, possibly more if i set up my fans right.
