Need Help Overclocking

I just went and bought me a new system

Core 2 Duo E7200
Sapphire hd3870 toxic
2gb cosair ram
320gb seagate hdd
P5Q Pro motherboard

What would be the best way for me to overclock this system????

By bringing up the fsb. There are multiple threads on how to overclock, take a look at those, and if you still need help come back.

lower the ram multiplier (some motherboards say it differently, multiplier of 2 = 533mhz, multiplier of 2.5 = 667mhz, multiplier of 3 = 800mhz etc...) and raise the ram timings to 5-5-5-15.

your best bet for overclocking is just to raise the fsb by around 5 points at a time (it starts at 266mhz). boot it into windows with each increase, and keep trying this. once it refuses to boot into windows lower it by about 10 until it boots into windows again. then! run prime95 (the latest version will run the amount of threads according to your processor). my Q6600 wouldn't boot windows at 3240mhz, it would crash if i tried to run prime95 at 3150mhz, and it would only give an error if i tried to run prime95 at 3060. 3016 ran more stable though
