I receive an error "WindowsUpdate error code 800F0902 WindowsUpdate_dt000"
I have ran the troubleshooting, and downloaded the helper from microsoft, but its still giving me the error. Also AI try to upgrade to internet explorer 9, but microsoft says I already have it, but the version still says 8. This is all for windows 7.
 
There isnt anything attached to the computer, no mp3 player...
and I searched and no IE9 anyplace

I have been trying to do these updates since 12/15 with the same results, plz help

Try this fix.

Go to C:\windows\softwaredistribution\

Right click on the download folder and click on rename. type windows.old and hit enter.

Reboot the system and try going to windows update again.
 
Also the WDIsystemhost wont allow me to start it, it says access denied, WHY??
The Diagnostic System Host is used by the Diagnostic Policy Service to host diagnostics that need to run in a Local System context. If this service is stopped, any diagnostics that depend on it will no longer function.

Ok guys figured this out on my own, if anyone else runs into this problem all you have to do is Run Command Prompt as an administrator, And in the command line type:
netsh winsock reset and then reboot the computer.

This issue is sometimes caused by the install or uninstall of a program that relies on the winsock structure to operate such as anti virus anti spyware stuffs.
