Need Help [Pro pls]

im getting my new desktop soon, but i still having some problems in deciding OS here. i've no idea on which OS suits my usage more, vista or XP. for ur information i will use my pc more on gaming and the spec is as below
CPU - C2D E7200
RAM - CL4 800Mhz 2Gb
V.Card - HD 4850
HDD - 16mb 320Gb SATA2
*without anymore changes the pc spec will be like above stated.
and which OS works better with my V.Card?

Additional :- any recommended driver for my V.Card?
if my pc spec doesnt match well, do let me know.

Vista. Your computer is good enough to run Vista good, and also XP doesn't suport DX10 (a must for gamers) and is getting old anyway meaning that it's harder to find drivers, support is going to be ceased,... there's no reason NOT to go for Vista since you have decent hardware that can handle it.
 
i'd get vista, and 4gb of memory to last you longer. the video card is great, but its a direct X 10 video card and windows XP only supports direct X 9 like the others said.
