so i just upgraded my system.
i got a new MSI 880G-E45
on the mobo theres a power button that shows if the mobo is getting power or not ( or somethin like that)
but ive plugged in, replugged, and replugged the Front Panel Power Connectors (JFP1) and ive triple checked that theyre right... and still whenever i hit the power button... NOTHING.. its driving me crazy ive made sure all the cables are plugged in that need to be..
i just dont know what else to do...
If anyone can help.. please it would be much appreiciated..
i might just end up taking the mobo back for another one.

On the JFP1 connector, the power switch pins go on the side with the missing pin, the next two. The first one is -, the second is +. Is that the way you have it?

Sure you have the standoffs under the board in the right places? And the Motherboard 24 pin power connector and the 4 pin CPU power connector.

yes thats the way i have it... but i dont have a 4 pin power connector to the CPU.. not sure i even saw anything of that matter to connect...

You have to have the 4 pin cpu power connector plugged in for it to power up.
Its a black 4 pin connector up by the mosfets cooler and CPU bracket, on the top edge of the board.
