Need help pushing value for budget system

Hello everyone, I'm in the process of buying some components to set myself up with a fairly capable system. It is to be used for casual entertainment like games, movies, light photoshop editing and office work.

My budget stretches around $AUD 500-700 with the intention of getting me a case, psu, cpu, mobo, ram, gfx, hdd and kboard+mouse. I've already got a monitor, dvd-rom and a speaker set from an old system to dismantle and add onto this purchase.

To be honest, I've built my fare share of systems and I'm not looking for miracles with this budget. It is probably more a case of emergency as my old system is about to crash and causes headaches on a regular basis. I do need help though, as I'm not experienced with budget purchases and I imagine it being more complex to assemble an optimal system this way. Coupled with not being present on the computer market for some time, I feel like I'm not exactly on top of things anymore...

What I am looking for in terms of performance is something to handles games like Heroes of Newerth and Quake Live on highest settings(I guess in general, these are the factors that will determine the systems capabilities). The challenge I think lies in finding good value hardware that will not hamper the quality for the sake of saving some cash.

Here are the sites that I know of and are available to me (Australian and available in Sydney):

www.techbuy.com.au
http://www.i-tech.com.au/

The hardware I'm currently considering (all in $AUD):

Case - CoolerMaster RC-690 Midi-Tower Case $112.80
CPU - AMD Athlon II X4 630 Quad Core (2.8GHz) - AM3, 2MB Cache, 45nm, 95W $136.75
RAM - Corsair 3GB (3 x 1GB) PC3-12800 1600MHz DDR3 RAM - 8-8-8-24 $180.60
Mobo - Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3 Motherboard AM3, AMD770, SB710, HT 5200, $110.90
GPU - Sapphire Radeon HD 5750 - 512MB GDDR5 - (700MHz, 4600MHz) 128-bit, $164.85
HDD – Hitachi Deskstar 7K1000.C 500GB 7200rpm Serial ATA-II-300 HDD w. 16MB $68.70
Mouse/Kboard - Gigabyte GK-KM6150 Desktop - Elegant Multimedia Keyboard + Mouse USB $17.40

TOTAL $792 (this is what I want to press down as much as possible)

Anyway enough of me, I'm interested in your thoughts about all of this. Thanks!

Hey
I can get you most of that at a better price, you haven't listed a psu, and you've got a 3GB ram kit, the mobo needs dual-channel, do you have an OS? Pretty sure we can work out a better system, you don't have enough posts for messaging here, send me an email at Buzz1927[AT]gmail.com :)

^Buzz sure can, and he's a reliable seller located in AU :) Just ask Linkin. Some other good websites are 9289.com, pccasegear.com and if you want to walk in store then definately MSY (one of those ultra-cheap stores).

From MSY -

AMD Athlon X2 240 - $62

Asus M4A785T-M - $90

Kingston 2gb(2x1) ddr3 1333mhz - $59

Corsair VX550 - $106

Antec 300 - $75

MSI 5670 1gb - $116

Seagate 500gb - $55

Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit - $120

Total - $683
