I'd suggest an Intel Core i3 2100 and a P75 or Z77-based motherboard over the Phenom II X3. I'd recommend 8GB of G.Skill RipJawsX 1600MHz RAM vis 2x4GB sticks. The 6850 is a good card. :) Wouldn't get a Cooler Master power supply though, go for a Corsair CX 500 or CX 600.

for the 6850 you will need an other psu the connector is good enough but the recommended power is too low... you need a 500w or higher;)

Ah i see well i currently have a PSU: CORSAIR 750TX (Sorry needed to edit)

But its enough for a radeon 4670 correct? Maybe i just use the lower power supply for that one. Switch off the 750tx for 6850

I was thinking of going AMD since its cheaper. For that price Intel is it cheaper now?

Which motherboard would you like to suggest?

Ram i'll check that out.

Also i got a corsair TX500 :)

The AMD is cheaper but the Intel is faster. If you want AMD I'd go for a Phenom II X4 if you can, a 955 or a 965 would be good. :) The Phenom II X4 should be fine for the games.

If you want an Intel board, something like this would be good http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157293 if you want an AMD board, something like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157319 I'm not sure how much you want to spend though.

The Phenom II X4 should work in an AM3+ board just fine.

I haven't heard about ASROCK How good is it? I usually buy MSI and Asus... I was looking to get a Gigabyte board just because the color is blue. Lol

ASRock are a sub-brand of ASUS, they make good boards which are very reasonably priced. :) You can get a Gigabyte board if you want.

Alright cool. So say for CPU and Motherboard. I search for the ones you suggested to be and its over my budget. But I don't know i'm still looking around who knows i might want to spend more than 500.00

Well i was wondering is this possible? to go cheap on Motherboard and CPU? i know its maybe a dumb move. But hopefully somehow it can work out.

If the net can be a bit over $500, you can do something like FX 6100 + 6870. It would take about $550 to get it delivered then about $40 back in mir's.
