I have straightened out just about all of the problem with my new pc and I'm loving it so far BUT, before some of the kinks were worked out I was installing Adobe reader X from the included MB installs disk and it blue-screen and shutdown in the middle of install. I install the newer version hoping it would correct the problem of not being able to uninstall it.... no dice. So I uninstalled the newer version successfully and now want to take care of this issue at the beginning of setting up my system instead of ignoring it. The error I get when I try to reinstall it (thought I could reinstall X and then uninstall it) or when I try to uninstall from the control panel is "error applying transforms verify that the specified transform paths are valid". I found this article but it doesn't help me because the path it list in the registry is correct. HELP!!!
