Need Help!! Upgrading CPU..hopefully

So im attempting to find some new hardware that will fit in my HP Pavilion 04 P8629A-ABA 772C

I really want to overhaul this thing.. RAM, Graphics Card, Mobo, the works. RAM is the goal right now but dang i didnt realize how many diffrent specs u really gotta get right so... From what i could tell from my everest report heres my hardware.

Im also using 512mb of RAM currently split between two sticks.

what am i looking for given my current hardware in new RAM that will fit?What dimensions are the important ones it would be physical right? i was hoping to at least get a combined total of 1gb i tgink that may be my max for my mobo but if two is possible that would be incredible. if anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated also if theres anymore info u need to help me regarding my computer let me kno i just got off work so i know im forgetting somethin lol PLEASE HELP ME OUT!!!
 
There is no sense in buying more ram if you want to upgrade motherboard, cpu and graphics card as you would need a whole new system built.

Besides your maximum ram is only 1gb with 2 sticks of 512mb. Save your money for a new build with a new case and power supply along with all your other parts you want.
 
makes sense. since thats the case what measurements am i looking for? i have an atx tower but what info do i need to buy a compatible motherboard? the
Physical Motherboard Size (230 mm x 240 mm)? CPU Package type? i really just dont kno anddddd doesnt my power supply have to be compatible with the new mobo? also thanks for the quick reply :)
