need help upgrading labtop

Hello, i am new here. And i have created a account to ask some experienced computer geeks :D what parts i need and how much i can upgrade my pc.

My pc is an insprion 6000. It is a pretty old computer but it was given to me for free. Heres a link to the reveiw: http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=2376

I Game alot and i love to play fps games like call of duty and medal of honor. But these games take alot of system to run them.

I now find myself with a spare 200$ and i want to upgrade my system. I want to make my computer strong enough to run call of duty fast and smoothly. I can expand my budget if needed.

So my question is.....

A. What kind of upgrades can i put in my system
B. With the upgrades will it run call of duty fast and smoothly
C. How much will this cost.

Any replys are appreciated.

You could put more ram in the system, but that will only get you so far. I don't think you can really do too much of anything else. I would just go ahead and save up for a new pc. Maybe go build a desktop. But, if you're looking for a laptop... I'd recommend just buying a new one.

Don't invest in a laptop. They are moderately upgradable at most, difficult to find parts for, and are prone to break. I only upgrade my laptops because I've gotten my hands on free parts :P

Look around, there are some darn cheap laptops out and about. Walmart tends to sell Toshiba laptops for rather cheap ($300-400 range). And sometimes even better deals turn up various places around the web.

Yeah, but he said he's looking for something that'll play COD. Which I doubt a laptop from wal-mart could play "good" on.

But, just like "The Other One" said, Don't invest in a laptop. You can barely upgrade them and definitely tend to break easier than a desktop.
