B3 stepping is older, uses more power and runs hotter.

G0 stepping is newer, uses less power and runs cooler.

yeah you would think by now that all the B3 ones were sold and most of the brand new Q6600s in stores/sites are the newer GO version but apparently you still hear of people ending up buying brand new ones and recieving a B3

better not get one or it will ber sent back!

Apparently, no stores have the B3 stepping, they're all the newer G0's now. Intel don't even make the B3 ones any more.
