Need help w/ choosing a new monitor

Hi guys
I want to get rid of my primitive 19" dell LCD and buy a new one.
I want one that gives off the least amount of heat. I live in FL so I want to keep my room temperature as low as possible, since it can get quite uncomfortable here in the summer. So, any suggestions? The size I'm looking for is 21.5"~23".

I don't know which get least amount of heat, but I guess those with LED backlit with lower energy consumption??
