I haven't built a computer in a number of years, so I've gotten far behind what's the new and best. After some time looking around, this is what I have come up with. Let me know what you think.

BUDGET RANGE: $1,000 - $1,100

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: HD Video editing, watching movies, internet, documents

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: Monitor, OS, large HD: I already have a 1 TB that I'll be putting in it.

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: Newegg mostly, anywhere for low prices

PARTS PREFERENCES: Intel i7-920 processor; other than that, I have no preference.

OVERCLOCKING: Yes

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: No

If you're not going to run multiple GPU's, you could save some money and get an i7 860 on the 1156 platform.

The processor is about the same price, but you can find 1156 motherboards for much less money than 1366, plus you'll save money buying only 2 or 4 sticks of RAM.

Just a thought.
