need help with a gateway

kk im fixin this gateway its older its got win me on it, well i cant get it to do ne thing, at first nothing would show on the monitor, now i get it to boot to the bios and all then the next screen is black with a little blinking line, ive changed hds, changed boot options and everything.. still no go
 
this maybe dumb but, am pretty sure somethings wrong with the motherboard, dunno about the ram though

hard drives = checked
Ram = not yet
Graphic = checked

ok,try swapping Ram (with ones tht works..lol)
and if you try and it still doesn't work and you're sure the cpu is ok
then the mobo is dying
