Hey guys, i'm very very computer stupid so i need some help. Anyways, i'm trying to get a video card but i'm confused with something-
It says i need a Pentium 3, AMD Duron or Athlon processor or higher. I currently have an Intel Pentium 4 on a 2002 version of a windows XP home edition dell computer. Will the video card be compatible with my current computer? Oh yeah, here's the link to the video card:

(just upgrading to play less graphics demanding games similar to WoW :P)

And i'm also stumped, what the heck is the difference between PCI and AGP or whatever? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Yes, the video card would be compatable. However, you really need to find out of if your motherboard supports AGP or just PCI. What is your PC? Normally I'd say just pop it open, but if we know your make/model/ect, there might be info online.

speed

agp is faster then pci and better cuz the voltage it gets is its own voltage if you use pci your using a low amount of voltage that is being shared with other pci slots.

so if you got a agp computer your best be would be to use agp slot do you have a agp slot?

pci is the worst agp is better then pci express which is better then them all.

i think that card should work because it says or higher so that means pentim 4's would work celerons and all other new proccessors will work with that video card

Well, that video card only needs a PCI compliant motherboard, so if AGP is more modern than PCI, my craptastic computer should be able to support it. Anyways thank you guys for being so helpful! :D
