Need help with ADDS Terminal and Hyperterminal mode

Hello.

I need some help with an ADDS 1010 terminal monitor and keyboard setup. It goes to an airplane simulator and the keyboard will double type the letters. So if you type a K it will come up as KK or more.

A replacement keyboard is very difficult to find and are crazy expensive.

So I hooked up a laptop into it and tried to set it up to run in Hyperteminal Mode. I called the manufacturer of the simulator (FRASCA) and got the info to set it up in COM1.

so I put in: Bits 9600, Data 8, Pauntx none, Stop Bits 1, Flow control Xon/Xoff

Now it will get data from the simulator and everything works fine but anytime I go to a different screen it will over-wright the previous screen and it just piles up.

Does anyone know how to get this thing to work? Or does anyone have an ADDS 1010 keyboard laying around for sale. Thanks alot.

Also, If this is in the wrong section let me know where I should put it.

are you positive you have the right settings for the hyperterm? Maybe try putty and see if that gives you better results than hyperterm.
