Need help with BLANK LCD screen

I have been customizing my Acer 5610 laptop by taking the facings and covers off which I have spray painted. After which I have reassembled the computer and the screen comes on but is completely dark to almost blank and I can only make out details by holding it to the light. I thought that this may have been a loose connection somewhere but I have checked this.

Could the screen have been damaged? Or could the invertor be damaged?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
 
As I always say, if you put something together and it does not work then remove it, inspect and re-install again.

check the cable from the screen to Mainboard of your laptop mate,.or either the small lamp lower side of the screen.
