First build and it's for my own personal and small bus.use. I've already pretty much decided on other HW. As a matter of fact, the mobo just got here a few mins ago. But I really need guidance on the right cpu. 1 user, 2-3 hrs on weekdays perhaps a little more on weekends, several programs @ startup, multitasking - w/2 browsers pages & windows - light photo work - dvd use - etc,, basic personal and small business multitaking. no gaming, no HT. Memory = DDR2 pc8500 1066 1.8v or oc to 1200. psu = 600w

A lot of cpu's will fit, and i had decided on: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103877
for the price point and being a quad. . The mobo has the 710 chip so it is capable of unlocking. I can spend a little nmore than the $76 if need be.
Id rather it be a little much than have to wait anything.
I think a retail box would be best.
If anyone can give me some other choices, suggestions,,,insight, id really appreciate it.
And what is L2 and L3 cashe?
With my use, I'll call it heavy multitaking, do you think i would notice the difference between
2gb and 4gb of memory?
Thanks
