Need Help with Crysis!

Im dead confused

when i run crysis on very high setting it lags, not much, but its annoying

My brothers pc has an intel core 2 duo e6600 (2.4ghz) 2gb Ram and it runs it perfectly on very high

My Amd 5000+ is running at 2.6ghz on each core and i have 3 gb ram

We both have the Nvidia 8800GTX GPU and we both have Vista



Whats wrong with mine???
 
How is it better??

I have £65 do i need to buy a new cpu?

What about a cpu do i need to look at? not the ghz obviously then :/
 
Intel is generally better than AMD for CPU's at the moment, that why he'll be pulling a few more FPS then you. Well, if you both have the same components other than the CPU, I'd say that's what's limiting you. I'll reply in your other thread :)
