im wondering if any EMA
(is that what its called) is interfering with my headphones+ speakers.??
any help?

Ultra violet light too close will direct heat at a system but not eletromagnetically interfere with your head phones. If the heat emmission which is light and not any electromagnetic field is heating up the system too much that would cause temps to rise there. For onboard sound you would need to monitor board temps as well as for the cpu.

For an installed pci sound card the UV lamps would have to pointed at the rear of the case itself heating up the pci slot devices. This sounds a lot more like a driver or sound card software setting like EAX on Creative Labs model cards causing this.
