Need Help with Fedora 8 Linux Video Card Drivers

I am completely new to Fedora Linux though I do have a few months of experience with Ubuntu and Suse Linux operating systems.

After my install of Fedora 8 Linux 32-bit I have run into a bug. I have an invisible mouse pointer (cursor). From what I have been reading this is a video card driver issue with NVIDIA.

I have a NVIDIA GeForce 6100 onboard Video Card. My motherboard is the following: Foxconn 6100K8MA-RS FAB1.0 SOCKET 939
My chipset is the following: nForce 410 MCP chipset

Update: Where can I download the NVIDIA drivers I need to get this operating system to work? I have tried to download several updates to no avail. Help anyone?

Update on pursuing this bug. I am still working on a bug in Fedora 8 32-bit and need to change a file but the operating system won't allow me because I don't have permission. The file I am trying to change is "xorg.conf".

How do I change file permissions for this file or folder so I can modify the file?

Update: Found a fix for this bug. If anyone else has similar issues with an invisible mouse pointer with 32-bit Fedora 8 send me a personal message. I can likely help.
