Need help with GPU!

Hey guys, I've run into a problem here. I just bought XFX R9 280x 3GB. I bought it from eBay and the person who sold it to me didn't send me the wires to connect to my PC. I was just wondering if anyone knew which exact wires I would need to get it hooked up and running!

You plug it into your existing PSU, and use either an HDMI or DP cable on the outside.

Neither of these would be included, especially a used product from EBay. Hopefully you got a good deal cause that card is ancient now!

I'm not the one who actually got it, It was my buddy. The cables didn't come with it and I was just wondering what exact adapters you need for the displays to work.

You don't need an adapter, per se... assuming your buddy checked, prior to buying, that his PSU was sufficient he should have the PCIE cables coming off his existing power supply.

Then he needs either an HDMI or Display Port cable to go from the card to the monitor.

Neither of these would have been included..he should have the power supply, but if its not compatible, its his fault--not the sellers. Same goes for the cable to the monitor, that would never come with the card, even brand new!
