Dell Precision m 4400.

Basically, I want a Solid State Drive, but the cheapest one you can get is a 400 dollar 128gb.

And the most ram you can get is 580 dollars for 8gigs.

So basically I have four questions:

1. The Ram Is DDR2-800 SDRAM This should work with it correct?
From newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145599

The thing is there are about 2 reviews of it not working in a Dell Precision. =(

2. I want an SSD. 401 dollars? How about this one:

Would it fit my computer? It should but, Im sure you guys have more experience with this thing. (btw... in the picture... it comes with a litl box and a usb cable... is that basically showing me I can use it as an external drive too?)

3. I know Dell will give you a CD for this Like Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit... but, since I want a new hard drive will I be able to install the OS without a problem onto my new drive?

4. Should I get the:
Intel® Core™ 2 Duo X9100 (3.06GHz, 6M L2 Cache, 1066MHz FSB
or
Intel® Core™ 2 Quad QX9300 (2.53GHz, 12M L2 Cache, 1066MHz FSB

If these options work I can save:
180 on ram
150 on Hard drive
330 in total saved

mems good, but you proly dont need 8gb, go for 6 or even 4

for your ssd i think this is pretty much the same one, but $10 cheaper

if your gaming and the extra 200 is okay go for the quad, but the duo is also good.

OWWWW, I JUST READ A REVIEW ON THAT RAM, SOME1 SAID IT DIDNT WORK ON THEIR M 4300, CHECK THE REVIEWS, FIRST PAGE

im not sure that dell sends you a disc, but you can find your serial key and swap it, i think at least, but with this new windows genuine advantage no1 knows

Thanks for all the help... the laptop and accessories I chose rung me up to $4,498.27 cents... ouch.

I found a freakin coupon for 30 percent off. Now It's down to $3,380.77.

I'm so happy I looked through all of my dell emails. It saved me over 1,300 dollars. WOW. I'm still blown away at this...
