Need help with memory

i building a computer it has a msi x58 plantinum series motherboard with i7 processor. Wanting to upgrade memory to 24 gb. here is the memory info for the board 6 DDR3 DIMMs support DDR3 1333/ 1066/ 800 SDRAM (24GBMax). My question is that i've been look at g-skill memory and there is 2 different model numbers, i'll post below.
DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9D-8GBRL
DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9Q-16GBXL
The numbers highlighted in red is my question, can some one help me with this, don't know which to order. thanks straightbar

A quick Google of the model numbers is pretty simple.

One is an 8GB kit (F3-10666CL9D-8GBRL) (2x4GB) and the other is a 16GB kit ( F3-10666CL9Q-16GBXL ) (4x4GB). You want 24GB of RAM so order 3 of the 8GB kits (it's cheaper than buying a 16GB + 8GB).
