need help with mouse for desktop pc second hand

hi, not been here before but i'm searching for information or help and advice on how to install a wireless mouse and keyboard. the problem is i bought a second hand pc off ebay, thinking the mouse would automatically come with it, but it didnt, so i've bought a wireless mouse and keyboard set, only trouble is, when i put the driver cd in i have no way of clicking on the install window that comes up and it's driving me mad, please someone help me. .. .....:(
 
Well if the keyboard and mouse are not plug and play you are going to have to find someone with a regular keyboard and use that.
 
so if i buy a plug and play one i dont need to install it? and a regular keyboard will work without installing?
 
All you have to do is, put in the cd, and once it says continue, switch to another mouse with a wire, and click continue until you finish. Then put back your wireless cord (behind pc) and click a small button underneath the mouse that says reset. It's a small button usually for most mouses.

IF you don't have a wired mouse, then use your wired keyboard and use that instead.
 
1) Install the software FIRST... THEN plug it in.

2) Try initializing installation through My computer -> Optical Drive -> Setup.exe
