Need help with new Asus G53sx Gaming Laptop

Hey guys I just got a new Asus G53SX-DH71 and have a couple questions.

1. How do I program it to not shutdown or go into sleep mode when I close the laptop?

2. The text is really small and when I change the settings to zoom in it can only go so far and its not really that big, I have to look pretty close to see, also if I have it set to zoom in mode I need to change the settings back to zoomout mode to play games and that requires a logout of windows and a log in so its a pain how can I change that?

Can't help you with number 2 but the first one click on the battery in the bottom right corner and go in power options. When that opens then in the bottom left corner you will see something for advance power option, click on it. Another box will open and if you scroll down you will see something for closing the lid, click on it and it should give you the option to change it.
 
I am asume it is windows 7, you can go to control panel>Appearance and Personalization>display to set custom text size(DPI)
