Need Help With New Computer

For some time now i have been thinking about buying a new desktop computer. I would appreciate any help choosing the parts for it since i am no expert at this stuff.

I am looking to buy/build a good gaming computer. And the maximum limit would be 2500$. It also has to be able to be shipped into Switzerland because i live there. To me game play (processors and ram) is more important than graphics just to make it easier to find the necessary parts in this price range.

Thank you for any help. Hope to hear some replies soon. :)

Is that 2500 usd or or chf? Also, welcome to Computer Forum, and don't forget to check out the Official Welcome Thread.

blah, one more thing, do you want the parts listed from a switz online store so it easier to purchase or does it matter?

Total CHF: 3256
Total USD: 2694

Yeah, I went a little over...
The QX6700 could always be downgraded to Q6600 if you want more HDD space, ram, or room to buy monitor, mouse, keyboard, etc. I also recommend getting a Thermalright Ultra Extreme instead of that Zalman but it is not a bad cpu cooler though.

2 more things. Where could i find a Q6600 because they don't have it there and could i also downgrade the 8800GTX - 768 MB to a 8800GTX - 640 MB without making a big difference in computer life and graphics?

They have it on their website. Just go to CPU and it's the 13th one listed - Intel Core 2 Quad Kensfield Q6600. For your build and downgrading to the Q6600, just stick with 768 MB 8800 GTX.
