need help with RAM

alright guys i had nothing but problems when i was told to overclock. when i raised my FSB, my RAM went to DDR200. I raised my fsb to default but my rams still 200. i want it back to DDR400. How do i do this?
 
oh i says 200 mhz. is this normal speed or is it suppossed to be 400? If i do an overclock, is it ok for my CPU to be 50 Degrees C and mobo 50 also. what temps should i stay in?
 
It depends on the CPU but as a general rule keeping the case temperature below 50 is ok, and from 50-55 is running warm.

200MHz is normal speed for DDR400.
 
can i do a small overclock to 1.8 to 2.0 with the DDR speed of 200mhz? I have a 430 watt PSU and a GIG of RAM. i have an opteron 144 with a DFI Lanparty Ultra-D. would this put alot of stress to my PC or can i go stightly higher? Is it best to jsut leave the RAM speed at 200 mhz?
 
You probably can, it's not much of an overclock so it should be fine. The only way to find out is to try it out. It shouldn't be stressed to much that you would need to adjust voltages or anything
