need help with specs (looking to build a new desktop)

those sticks are good based on the reviews. no cons stated.

yeah i used to game. i'm a test drive unlimited addict. :)

I have never played that one! I'm into the FPS's and Need for Speed, except NFS:Carbon and Prostreet, those two sucked butt. Also, RTS's. My fave's would probably be Portal, Sins of a Solar Empire, and HL2 with the chapters.

carbon was alright, prostreet was crap. you gotta check out TDU, it's awesome but it's bloody buggy! (bad servers and cache issue)

I shall check it out. I liked Most wanted the best from the NFS series, although I did like how you could put underglow on from the underground ones and I liked the more detailed customization in carbon.

nah. not a fan of neons under the car. :P

oh hey as for the case, why not check out the Antec 900 or 1200.

I have a complete build list put together that I'll post in a few moments, because I'm on my iPod at the moment. It should be just about perfect.

Hey, jnskyliner34:

LOL, Actually right now the 1200 has been one of my favorite cases for a while, and I am currently using the 900! Also, A big HDD doesn't matter too much to me, I wouldn't really use it anyway (right now i'm using a 250GB and i'm barely over half), i'm trying to go more for speed(but I was definately thinking RAID 0 or RAID 5) and I can alwlays add a bigger one later IF needed.

I have looked at the thermaltake armor before, and I do like it, but I was also thinkin the Thermaltake SwordM, many people like and many people don't, but it appears you can really get into it and it already has built in liquid cooling.

The other case I have listed has a built in air conditioner (newegg does not sell it anymore). I was reading the reviews for it once and a guy said he switched out the regular coolant with car coolant and he tweaked it a little, and he was able to keep his case about 37degrees F, just above freezing so condensation wouldn't form.
