Title says it all, I've tried everything and it doesn't seem to work so I have come to the people of the computer forum to help me with this really annoying problem. Hope you can help and thanks in advance :)

What are you doing when you get this error or when is it happening? We need more information then what you posted to help.

Any new software installed recently? How old is this system? What OS are you running? Have you been infected recently? Have you tried booting to safe mode and open programs to see if same message?

Any new software installed recently? Nope
How old is this system? 4 years old
What OS are you running? Windows 7
Have you been infected recently? Not that I know of.
Have you tried booting to safe mode and open programs to see if same message? Not yet, I'll try it though.

It's been like this for a while, when I tried to open the Geometry Dash game a couple months ago. I just brushed it off as nothing after being unsuccessful at solving this problem and started to look for more solutions when it started to screw up my skype. I have tried to do a system restore back when I was trying to fix Geometry Dash, but an error came up that I can't really remember.

Then what you need to do is back up your important data and do a fresh install of windows. You can't just let things like this go for so long and then try to get help, you'll just make things worse. You could have remembered an important detail from back then that could have helped us fix it.

Ah, okay. Thanks so much for the help, I've realised that I have derped way to much. I'll back up my data and ask my dad to do a fresh install of windows. Btw what is the best way to back up important data in my case?

If you have a lot of data like documents, music, and pictures it may be easier to transfer these to an external drive. Or if this is a desktop pc and you have an extra blank hard drive you just attach it to system and transfer data to it. Just make sure you unplug it when reinstalling windows, just keep original drive connected. If you only have a little bit of data, maybe it will fit on a usb flash drive or cd/dvd.
