The ASUS one's contrast ratio is actually 1000:1 (ASCR 20000:1).

While the Acer one only displays the 20000:1.

But the ASUS one does look better imo.

I'd go for the Acer, it's got a wider base and thus it -might- wobble less (My LG is a circular base, and I put wood blocks under each end to make it stop wobbling
