Need Help With The Turn On/Off Buttons

First off, I just want to say that this PC isn't going in my car but it will stay in my room. I have installed everything and I have enough cables and connectors. However, I don't think I can power the pc up because the Power On/Off button on the front panel of the tower doesn't have the same pin # connector. I already closed the case up but I believe it was a 20-pin off the power supply. I do have the ATX Power Supply connector connected to the mobo though. So, that wasn't a problem.

As I said, everything is fine but I need to see what kind of power supply to get. I will buy a larger one around 300-watt I guess because the one I currently have is 200-watt and I am not sure how that one will handle the load off the PC and all the fans.

Do you know what pin connector I am talking about not having on my current PC? I downloaded the manual for this mobo off the Epox website and they say the mobo has a 20-pin connector for the power supply that supports the Remote On/Off feature and should be connected to the front panel PW_ON connector for the PC's power On/Off button.

If I am missing something could you please inform me? I just am not sure what else to do. I mean, everything is wired up but I have the one connector left that goes to the power button that you would press on the tower to turn the PC on.

Please help me......

1. Make sure you connected the ATX12 cable
2. Did you connect the front jumpers cables to the motherboard's power jumper? :)

I am not really sure. I'll have to double check in the morning. What do the jumpers look like and how many are there normally?

Well, maybe I am getting the names of the pins mixed. Anyway, here is a pic of what I am talking about. The connector from the Power On/Off Buttons are above the fan and the input for the connector is on the mobo near the bottom left of the right fan.

Any ideas?

Sorry, I made a mistake. I have the Epox EP-8RDA+ motherboard. NOT the EP-8RDA3+ motherboard. Regardless, the pic at the top shows the connector that I have for the Power On/Off Buttons on the front panel of the PC and the input at the bottom of the mobo for the Power On/Off Buttons connector.

Which adapter do I need?
