Need help with upgrading my cpu

Ok hope you guys can help.
I want to put in the best cpu that my mobo can take but I have no idea what one it is. I have a intel celeron d 2.53 in here now
Can someone please tell which one will work for me thank you

I can't find much on that MOBO right now - but it appears you're a 478 socket. Newegg only has one CPU for that motherboard - and it's probably not worth paying 79 bucks for the upgrade over what you've got.

What Dell model is it.
Inspirion 2100, Dimension 4300, etc. That might help a bit more.
