D digitalswapper New Member Feb 13, 2011 #3 I know that when I have to reformat my toshiba tablet, I have to use a specific external DVD ROM or it won't work. I think I had to buy a Targus PCMCIA Drive. USB drives would not work for the restore and install requirements.
