hello everyone

first excuse my bad EN,and i'm interested and playing more in deathrun mod cod4,so my problem is when i played at this mod i noticed that's there's some players faster than me a bit,i just want to know what is speed and jump depend when u play at any mod,at the beginning i thought that's depend on ping but i was faster than a player who have lower ping than me and another player was faster than me pls wat is the reason? and the weird thing is when i made a private deathrun "i just made it from start a new server" my speed was so good i got a big difference,my video card and CPU not that good is this can effect? pleas just tell me why is there difference between when i play at cracked and private and the problem is there's a players play as they play in private server.and my other question is that wat can do r_fog if i set is 0?

When you say fast are you talking about running speed? If so your system specs have nothing to do with that. Also your ping may make you have issues of rubberbanding (jumping back in forth and having things freeze then jump around).

If your computer just has sluggish animations and seems choppy, that's your system not being up to scratch to run the game.

To me it sounds like a game based issue, which most likely won't get much help here. Have you tried a forum based specifically on that game?

thanks for reply ,yes i'm talking about running speed,i don't know if my pc sluggish animations and choppy as u said but lest say that my pc as u said so wat could be the problem is that depend on performance of my pc? take a look on my pc parts:
-Intel core 2 duo E6550
-8Gb RAM
-NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT
-my ping in the server approx 130
and my windows 7 not original,i don't know if i upgrade my pc will i get better quality and efficiency in the game mean like u play in closer server?
 
Your running speed is completely independent on the game and has nothing to do with your system specs or anything like that.

Having a hgih ping (although yours isn't that bad) can make you jump around and may result in you not moving as fast as everybody else but otherwise it's all in the game itself.

Again, try a forum that is specific to this game, they may be able to answer your question better. But I can tell you it's not your computer that is the issue.
