Ok well im in the middle of customizing a comp..all I need is video card and Cpu..

but idk about all the software and stuff that I need...
Im getting windows xp but dont know which 1 I should get...
because there are a few out there and they range from price...

and about the computer ....
some 1 told me that the first thing I should do when I power it up
is install Windows xp cd..

but then another fellow said I need dos 98 floppy or something??
please help me get this straight do I install windows xp or something
about dos and hdd ...*so confuzed*...

95-ME need a boot floppy, 2000-XP CDs are bootable, no need for a boot floppy

so its correct what I said about the first thing i do is power up the computer insert the windows xp cd and follow instructions??
