Need info for procedure

Hello,
I just wanted to know how to completely delete windows xp and all of my the other files and stuff from my computer (Dell...it sucks) and then reinstall it. I have the windows xp cd that came with the computer. I heard that i might have to create and windows 98 boot disk, but I need details, and stuff about what commands to type in if i actually do it.

if u have a boot disk then great if not...

if u have some kind of boot disk or cd then use it to format partition c:\ and then insert the win xp cd and install...

if you dont have boot device u can insert the win xp and format the partition in NTFS ( i wouldnt use the quick option) in one of the installation stages.
