Need low profile graphics card for dual monitors

Our company has some small form factor computers (HP Compaq 6200 Pro Small Form Factor) with built in graphics cards. A couple people want to be able to use dual monitors. If I add a graphics card to that, will that computer be able to use the new card plus the on board one in order to use dual monitors? If so, does any PCI Express x16 card with a low profile bracket work? Does PCI Express 2.0 or 2.1 or 3.0 all work? If anyone can even recommend some cards that will work, I'd appreciate it. If it can be used along with the onboard one to hook up dual monitors, then it wouldn't need to be any better than that one, but if dual monitors would both be run off the new card, then it can be a little better, as these people use them to display maps such as Google Earth a lot.

Thanks for the reply. I looked up the specs on that computer and it says the power supply is 240W. That seems like a pretty low one so is it going to be hard to find a video card for something like that?

Yeah it will be pretty hard. OEM PSUs usually are not reliable for putting out the wattage that they are rated for. If you put the GT210 in the system I bet it would kill it after a short time of using it. If it would work at all.

The only recommendation that I am comfortable making is to replace the PSUs in the systems that are looking to run dual monitors in order to prevent any damage done by a failing PSU.

Ok I'll check into that. I have built a couple computers from scratch (with help from this forum) but never upgraded the power supply in a pre built computer. Are they all a standard size (as far as the physical size) or what?

If it is a low profile PC It will most likely have a PSU that is not ATX. Check the model number on one of the power supplies and see if Google knows what standard it would be under.
