Motherboard ASUST ek
Model LEONITE
Chipset Intel i945P/PL/G/GZ
Southbridge Intel 82801GB(1CH7/R)
LPCIO Fintek F8000
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT

This is the new CPU i'm looking at,Intel-Core-2-QUAD-Q8200-YORKFIELD-CORE-S775-233-GHz-1333MHz-4MB-CACHE-7X-RETAIL.

This is the new Motherboard i'm looking at,ASUS-P5Q-SE-PLUS-iP45-S-775-PCI-E-20-(x16)-DDR2-1066-1200-667-800-SATA-11-SATA-RAID-ATX.

With the Spec i'v put can you tell me how much difference the new Board/CPU will give me in gaming,cheers.

You should get improvement from your current setting. Your current PC seems to be HP, and that Asus LEONITE mobo was m-ATX. I don't know if the standard ATX Asus P5Q SE Plus would fit your existing case.

With £170 to spend
I would recommend you go for AMD for the price
Get AMD Phenom IIx4 945 with Gigabyte GA-MA785GM-US2H

Sorry for late reply,yes it was to big but i had another computer and the case was bigger so everything was swapped over.Got to have the guy back tonight as all is not well any way thanks for the replies
