What you have downloaded isnt your motherboard drivers...thats a utility to flash your bios...which i wouldnt recommend unless you know what your doing.

go here and download your motherboard drivers.

ok i have just restarted...
I found an option in Advanced Chipset Features: Tourbo Mode [disable] and i [enable] it
i hope it was what i was looking thought :)

Honda-

The latest drivers for your mobo are in the

Intel website, both Chipset and Video...

Also install (after the other two) as a bonus the
Intel Application Accelerator...

And have a good trip...

Atomic your suggestions were correct but unfortunatly H0nda2000 has not explained his problem very well. You are NOT wanting to update you motherboard drivers, you ARE wanting to update you BIOS, with this one so as to enable hyperthreading

http://216.158.218.35/edoc/bios_uploads/6580v40.zip
read the instructions on how to flash your bios as you can not do it from windows.

turbo mode is not what yo are looking for, and it should be set to [Auto]

ok i think there wasnt an [auto] option but anw i downloaded that zip before ,,,,
the directions are veerryy complicated (for me of course ) coz i am noob with this stuff....and it would be better if someone could explane me in real time :%

to be honest the board was sold to you as having hyperthreading enabled and it doesn't not without flashing bios. If you are such a noob that you cant do it i am really reluctant to to give you detailed instruction incase you fck it up and that comes back on me. I think if you call MSI and let them run it through with you real time. Or just take the board back. Or spend a lot more time reseaching on the web.

I read the instructions and they are pretty clear, i dont think i could write it much clearer.

maybe someelse will stick there neck out on this one :(
