So my 2 year old D-Link DIR-655 died on me tonight. It still works wired, but it doesn't transmit a wireless signal anymore. I reset it and reconfigured it to no avail. So now I'm looking to replace it. I'm temporarily using a Linksys WRT120N, which works for a few hours then cuts off connection to the internet until you reset and reconfigure it
.
I've been reading reviews and am not convinced on what I should get. I was looking into the Linksys/Cisco Valet series routers, but they are saying that they slow down over time.
There is one desktop always hardwired to the router, as well as a network printer and a weather station transmitter. Two laptops run wirelessly (mine is N and the other laptop is G), as well as two xbox 360's (by use of a TrendNet Wireless-N gaming adapter). My two desktops have a DD-WRT router set to be an adapter (draft G). Very little file sharing is ever done between computers.
Anyone have any suggestions on a router?
