can I just use a heatsink that comes w/ the cpu, Unless I'm going to overclock my cpu? Or is it still a good idea to get a better heatsink.

My main task w/ computer is photoshopping, and very little gaming..

any advice?

Does the fan annoy you? Trying to get a quieter PC?

If you plan on just using a heatsink you might want to get a higher grade heatsink just in case.

if u want just a heatsink/noiseless, its probably much safer if u get an aftermarket heatsink for the cpu. Just the stock heatsink would probably overheat. and plus, you wouldn't want to risk a few hundred dollars

stock heatsinks are fine if you don't oc or and you don't put incense in your computer.....unless you mean no fan, then get something copper based or better even copper fins

stop heatsinks are designed so that it can provide enough cooling for a cpu at stock speeds. If you're gonna oc, get a better one. Or else I would just stick with the ones that came with your processor.
