Need office key from old installation

Hello everyone, I have an annoying problem.

My XP installation wont run at all, tried everything and I am not interested in trying anymore. I can log on using bart CD
and see my files but what I really need is my MS office key.

I tried at least 2 different key viewers but for some reason they cant see it. I see the XP key but I cant get my office and I certainly don't wanna buy a new one.

It came with the PC and I have no backup of the code.

Contact the manufacturer?

Otherwise, try putting that hard drive in another windows machine. That'll give you some more options as far as viewing files. You should be able to pull it from the registry.
