need opinions on new card

I am looking to get a new agp vid crd and am looking at the x800xt, x850pro and the 6800gt. which would you choose?
 
the x850 would be the fastest I believe (I don't feel like double-checking) but that also would make it the most expensive. You might be better off going cheap for now and after awhile updating your mobo and going pci-e with a newer card in the future (looking at your sig).
 
Rick G, what's your budget? Cause I'm getting a GF6800 and hopefully unlocking 4 pixelpipelines and 1 vertex pipeline. I would be saving myself about 100€ by doing that, instead of buying a GF6800GT.
 
I'm sticking to about $300, no sense gettin crazy. I plan on a new build next summer and will be going pci-e with a similar video card. The exsisting computer will be given to a student at that time.
I don't want to o/c this card and don't plan on unlocking any additional pipelines.
I can get a X850PRO at a discount where I work so can get it for $258.
Is there any significant differences between ATI and Nvidia at this level?
 
on the bench-test ive seen, the 6800GT outperforms a x850pro.
the x850 lacks MS3.0, tough its an excelent card :)
if you can get it cheap, i would go for it ;)
