Need some advice, first computer build.

Hello everyone and thank you for stopping by to look at my first computer build posting. I currently have quite a junker computer it gets the job done but im looking to build a newer pc with my tight budget. I am just wondering if there is anything you would change in the build and keeping in mind the budget can not go over 300.

I could not decide between a cheaper gigabyte motherboard that had a single pci 2.0 express configuration with 4gbs of Gskill 1066 memory. Or to stick with the MSI with 2gigs of memory so that I can upgrade to crossfire them later on.

Any parts or configurations that you would swap out would be great. I am salvaging a disc drive from my old computer, and a 600watt power supply, and 250gb hard drive.

Thank you,
Ryan

Well, the build looks good, if you are just an average gamer like me, then you don't need to go crossfire with the 4670, it preformas very well, almost comparibly with the 9600GT.

EDIT: I would just go with the 4GIGS at the moment, becuase almost every game that i played i maxed out in it with over 40 FPS, excluding Crysis, that game is ALOT more demanding, and my 600$ gaming build cant handle it:(

MSI and Gigabyte are both excellent brands. Also among the good brands are ASUS and EVGA. You should defenitly get the mobo that supports 4 gigs ram. 2GB will run short soon. Also, you dont need crossfire with the 4670. Instead, you would get better performance to sell the card you have and combine that with what you have saved up and buy a single card again.

alright thank you for the replies, I might be saving up the rest of the parts to make my brother a computer as he is using a pentium 2 right now. But yeah I don't think that I could get much more than 20 dollars for my 8600gt. So I updated the list with OCZ 4gbs of memory and went with the ASUS motherboard. I personally think that should just about top off the build.

Does anyone else have any suggestions? Also I am just wondering as there is so many video cards and processors to choose from. I know I want to upgrade to a quad core later on then get a better video card. Is there any suggestions for those in a reasonable price range?
