Need some help buying laptop

Hi, im new at this forum. Im buying my dad a laptop and i can spend 500$ aprox. I was thinking of buying Toshiba L50-BST2NX5 but i couldnt find any usefull review.
What do you guys think/recommend.
My dad uses the laptop for daily task and microsoft office for work.

Just bought one for my mom since she's a bit hard of sight but she only has good things to say about it.
