Need Some Help

I need to know is there a way to watch movies that i have on my computer on my home Television?

Is there is some kind of cable that i need?

All the help would be appreciated.

if you mean maybe a laptop to your tv. mines hooked up now. the Sony tv has a video jack on it. on the laptop run the video cable to the tv. Im using a wireless mouse and keyboard. turn the tv and switch the tv to computer mode. turn the laptop on. and hit FN+F5. then it switches off the laptop screen and transfers to the extermal video which is the 40" tv.

Same if you use a desktop. There is so called TV cable which you have to plug in.
Then you have to install needed drivers and do all said above.
