Need some help...

Alright at the moment I can't even play the simplest games without the CPU jumping to 100% and some uber lag. Heres the system:
New stuff:
MoBo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813138036
CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819103733
GPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814143049
PSU: 400w
RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820144049
Old stuff from a Compaq:
CD/DVD Drive
Case
IDE 80gb 7200rpm HDD
Wireless Adapter: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16833127130

This happens everytime I log onto City of Heroes, it'll play good for 2 seconds, then it'll lag and freek out on me. This even happens when I try to play "Freetar Hero" ><

I had to put the heatsink on the CPU on twice (i'm using the one that came with it) because i though that the outlet on the far side of the motherboard. Could this be a problem with the Thermal Paste that's now messed up from flipping it around?

Also either I got a bad stick of ram. Even though it says 800mhz it says that the max bandwidth is 400mhz ><. I still have enough time to RMA should I do this and spend a couple more bucks on a better brand? Because the 400mhz/5CAS isn't very good...

Also this is not really related...but sometimes the internet will cut out at random times (i've had to install it 7 times) and say that it can't connect to any of the networks, and it won't repair itself. If I restart it will work fine, so i just restart and deal with it ><. Any suggestions about this?

Thanks for all the help!

No one responded to you yet? Maybe try to tell us in a simpler way. Reading what you listed itself is already confusing.

Bros, anyone out there can help this poor chap?

Hmmmm Whats the spec of your PSU??

Whats temp is the CPU?

What voltage is the CPU set at and is there any signs of vDroop?

Did you install your OS clean on your computer? (not just a HDD with a OS on it put into your machine)

How have you configured your IDE cables going to your HDD and CD drive?

And last what version of BIOS you running on your mobo...

Sorry for all the questions but it needs to be done in a process of elimination mannor.
