Ok, I got a Geforce 6800 128mb 8x AGP.

How does this card rank up by todays standards and should I have waited for a 6800 Ultra or something?

I got this little registry file called Coolbits. I was wondering if this overclocked my Geforce. What the hell is overclocking, and will my card blow up or something?

What is this "AA" I hear about. 2x 4x? I have no clue.

Search overclocking on the internet or read the Overclocking 101 post somewhere around here...

AA is anti-aliasing and makes the graphics smoother. Google that too if you want more info.

if i recall, the 6800ultra came first so you would have had to wait for the 6800nu

when you draw a diagonal line, its made using, for all intents and purposes, squares. squares have sharp edges. the staircase effect of these edges is called aliasing. antialiasing gets rid of them to a degree

read the overclocking 101 post somewhere around here...

hehe except it doesnt deal with video card overclocking.
