Need suggestions on cooling and ssd

Been looking into finishing off my build for quite some time.

I want to put a SSD in there, I want something reliable and big enough to store the OS and choice programs like photoshop. Something around or under $100 would be good if possible.

I also want to put in some better cpu cooling. I've been looking at the corsair H50 beginner water cooling setup and it looks promising, read some positive reviews. Is there anything else in that price range that will give me similar/better results for the same/less money?

Also random question, if you have better cooling, will that in turn reduce the ambient temperature of the room, even in the slightest, that the pc is in? It's always been my understanding that the cooling just disperses the same degree of heat out of the unit more efficiently, having no effect on room temperature.

The Sandforce 2xxx controllers are having problems.
So a SATA II drive would be good for now. :D

OK,,, I see that some users report random BSOD and freezes with that latest Sandforce 2xxx series controller. The 2281 and I believe the 2100. It's the controller manuf's are using to get Sata III.

Check out the user feedback over at OCZ SSD forum.

The Sata II is still a big difference compared to a HDD, if you decide to go that way.
It's mostly the small (4k) reads that give us the visual speed.

As for cooling what is your budget?
If you are looking for something in the range for the H50 and cannot shell out more then I would recommend an Air Heatsink instead.
If you can then as bigfella said above :D

For around 100$ u can get the H80, which fits on virtually any socket. so if u were to change m/b in the future, you wont need a new cpu cooler
